safeaire ® Serie AP molecular filtration cabinet for safe storage of anatomical specimens fixed in formalin, for protecting anatomical pathology department staff.

The filtered air extracted by the GS1000 AP / GS1200 AP cabinet can be recycled into the interior without affecting the operation of the centralised air handlers, or can be channelled to the outside. The cabinet features:

  • No extraction ducting, equipped as standard with extraction after filtration
  • Width 1,000 and 1,200 mm
  • CE certified, also satisfies the provisions of Italian Decree Law 626/94 (elimination at source of chemical contaminants and dust) and by British Law COSHH- 1988 (The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations)
  • High efficiency of the active charcoal filtration system, impregnated specifically for aldehydes, certified BS7989 and/or HEPA filter – 99% efficiency on 0.3µ
  • Semi-absolute prefiltration with 95% efficiency on 0.5 µ
  • Extraction/filtration system with dynamic seal ensuring all air passes through the filter
  • High containment factor due to the front opening in two overlapping sections, each composed of two horizontally sliding sashes in tempered glass.
  • This division of the opening provides better containment, energy savings and longer filter life
  • Two step automatic variation of the extraction flow rate (two presets) depending on the opening of one sash, to maintain constant containment
  • Low air face flow alarm and operating hour counter
